Q1: How big is it in real life?
A1: Small. It's 12cm across and 9cm deep, about the size of a large mug. That's why people use it in hallways, walk-in closets and porches, often two or three in a row rather than one on its own.
Q2: What bulb should I use?
A2: Any E26 or E27 LED bulb up to 40W. Bulbs aren't included. A compact frosted bulb around 5-7W at 2700-3000K works best, because the bottom is open and a tall or clear bulb will be visible from below.
Q3: Is the wood real?
A3: Yes. The canopy is solid wood with a walnut stain. It sits flat against the ceiling and covers the mounting plate, so the only things you see are the wood and the stone.
Q4: Is it dimmable?
A4: It's supplied as a simple on/off fixture for your wall switch. If you want to dim it, you'd need a dimmable bulb and a compatible wall dimmer, so check with our sales team before you order.
Q5: How is it installed?
A5: It is hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box, so you will want an electrician to fit it. The wiring takes AC 110-240V, which covers both US and European mains. It is rated IP20, so keep it to dry indoor rooms.

A6: Only away from the shower and bath. It's rated IP20, so it's fine in a powder room or on the far side of a larger bathroom, but not anywhere it will get splashed.
