Q1: Why does the stone look striped?
A1: This piece uses travertine with strong linear banding, the way the layers show when the stone is cut along the grain. When the globe is on, the inside of the dish glows and those bands stand out much more than they do in daylight.
Q2: What bulb does it take?
A2: One G9 capsule bulb up to 40W, not included. A 3-5W G9 LED at 2700-3000K gives a warm light that suits the stone. The bulb sits inside the opal globe and isn't visible.
Q3: Is 30cm big enough for a room?
A3: It's sized for hallways, entries, landings, small kitchens and walk-in closets. In a bedroom it works as a soft main light, but for a living room you'd want one of the larger LED fixtures in this collection.
Q4: Is it dimmable?
A4: It's supplied as an on/off fixture for your wall switch. If you want to dim it, you'd need a dimmable bulb and a compatible wall dimmer, so check with our sales team before you order.

A5: It is hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box, so you will want an electrician to fit it. The wiring takes AC 110-240V, which covers both US and European mains. It is rated IP20, so keep it to dry indoor rooms.
Q6: How do I keep the stone clean?
A6: Switch it off at the breaker first, then wipe the stone with a dry or barely damp soft cloth. Skip bleach, solvents and scouring cream. The surface is sealed, but the open pores will hold onto anything harsh.
