Q1: What are the three parts of this lamp?
A1: From the top down: a wide opal glass dome, a small polished brass sphere that joins the dome to the body, and a stout alabaster column with a softly rounded shoulder. Nothing is hidden behind trim — the joint between each material is left visible, which is what gives the piece its stacked, almost architectural profile.
Q2: Which finish can I order?
A2: White alabaster with polished gold brass, shown in the photography. The gold applies to the sphere joint, the small clips at the rim of the dome and the fittings under the base. The dome itself is opal glass rather than stone, so it stays bright and even while the column below picks up the warmer glow.
Q3: What bulb does it take and is one supplied?
A3: One E26 or E27 screw socket rated Max 60W, and bulbs are not supplied. A 6-9W LED at 2700-3000K is the usual choice for a bedside or console position. The socket sits well up inside the dome, so the lamp itself is never visible from a seated or standing height.
Q4: Can I have it with a dimmer?
A4: Yes. Every lamp in this range is built with either a plain push-button switch or a dimmer switch, and you choose which at the time of order. If you take the dimmer version you also need to fit dimmable E26/E27 bulbs — a non-dimmable lamp on a dimmer circuit is the usual cause of buzzing or flicker.
Q5: Which plug will it arrive with?
A5: Whichever one your market uses. We produce the cord set to the standard of the destination country — US, UK, AU or EU — so state the market on your order and the lamps arrive ready to use with no adaptor. If a single shipment covers more than one territory, give us the split and we pack them separately.
Q6: Will the stone pattern match the photos exactly?
A6: The overall colour and translucency will, but the veining will not. Each column is cut from a different part of the batch, so the drift of the markings is unique to the piece and only really shows once the lamp is switched on. If you are buying a pair for two nightstands, tell us and we will select them from the same run.
