Q1: What is the shape of this chandelier?
A1: A hexagonal halo. Six straight alabaster slab segments are mitred together into an open hexagon frame only 8cm deep, with the light emitting from the inner face and the underside. It is a softer, more architectural alternative to the usual circular halo — the flat facets pick up light differently on each side as you move around the room.
Q2: What sizes and configurations are available?
A2: Six variants. Four single hexagons at Dia 50cm, 60cm, 80cm and 100cm, all H 8cm; plus two two-tier sets, 80+60cm and 100+60cm, where the pair hangs at staggered heights from one canopy. The two-tier sets are the dramatic option for double-height rooms and stairwells; the single rings suit standard 2.7-3.2m ceilings.
Q3: How thin is it really?
A3: Eight centimetres front to back. That is thin enough that the ring almost disappears when seen edge-on, which is why it works in bedrooms and low-ceiling apartments where a drum or cage chandelier would feel heavy. Combined with the near-invisible steel suspension cables, the lit hexagon reads as if it is floating.
Q4: What is the light source?
A4: An integrated warm-white LED module at 3000K, CRI above 80, rated 50,000 hours. Output scales with size, from 24W on the Dia 50cm to 60W on the Dia 100cm. There is no bulb to buy and nothing to replace. A 0-10V or TRIAC dimmable driver can be fitted at the factory if you tell us at order time.
Q5: Which room size suits which diameter?
A5: Dia 50cm for a bedside or small entry, Dia 60cm over a round table of 100-120cm, Dia 80cm for a dining table of 130-150cm or a living-room seating group, Dia 100cm for open-plan spaces above 30 square metres. For the two-tier sets allow at least 3.5m of ceiling height so the lower ring clears head level.
Q6: How is it installed?
A6: Hardwired to a ceiling junction box. The round brass canopy carries three or four steel suspension cables which are height-adjustable up to 150cm on site — no rewiring needed to change the drop. The alabaster hexagon ships assembled in a moulded foam frame, so installation is hang, level, connect, done.
