Q1: How are the globes arranged?

A1: Each alabaster globe hangs from its own J-shaped brass hook arm that curls off the main ring. On the larger variants the hooks alternate between an inner and an outer circle and sit at two different heights, so the globes form a loose double row rather than a flat line — that staggering is what gives the fixture depth when you look at it from across the room.

 

Q2: What is the difference between the 8 head and 15 head Dia 100cm versions?

A2: Both share the same Dia 100cm × H 35cm brass ring. The 8 head version spaces the globes widely for a calm, minimal look and a lower total load; the 15 head version fills the same ring densely on both the inner and outer circles for a much richer, more luminous effect. The 9 head Dia 70cm and 12 head Dia 80cm sit between them.

 

Q3: What bulbs does it need?

A3: One G9 socket inside each globe, bulbs not included, Max 40W per head. We recommend 3-5W G9 LED at 2700-3000K warm white. The socket is fully enclosed by the alabaster sphere, so nothing is visible except the globe itself glowing softly with the internal shading showing through.

 

Q4: Which room size does it suit?

A4: The Dia 70cm version suits a round dining table of 110-140cm or a small lounge; the 80cm works over a six to eight seat table; the two 100cm versions are for large dining rooms, hotel lobbies and reception areas with a ceiling of 3m or more. Allow at least 75cm of clear space around the ring.

 

Q5: Can the ring be levelled after installation?

A5: Yes. It hangs from three independent cables under a round brass canopy, and each cable adjusts separately at the canopy, so the ring can be brought perfectly level even on a ceiling that is slightly out of true. Overall drop is adjustable up to about 100cm.

 

Q6: How is it shipped and installed?

A6: Hardwired to a ceiling junction box through the brass canopy. The ring, hook arms and cable set ship as one assembly in a moulded foam bed; the alabaster globes travel individually wrapped in a second layer and are screwed onto the hooks after the ring is hung and levelled. Two people make the install much easier.
