Q1: What makes this ring different from a standard halo?
A1: The section. Instead of a flat band, the ring has a full rounded torus profile — a thick doughnut cross-section shaped from solid alabaster with a soft chamfer on the inner edge. There is no brass channel, no visible fixing and no seam on the shade itself, so the lit ring reads as one continuous glowing form rather than an assembly.
Q2: What sizes and configurations are available?
A2: Four variants. Single rings at Dia 60cm, Dia 80cm and Dia 100cm, all H 8cm; plus a three-ring cluster combining 60cm, 80cm and 100cm hung at staggered heights and angles from one brass canopy. The cluster is the statement piece for stairwells, double-height living rooms and hotel lobbies.
Q3: What is the light source?
A3: An integrated warm-white LED module at 3000K with CRI above 80, rated 50,000 hours. Output runs from 30W on the Dia 60cm to 60W on the Dia 100cm, and 135W for the full cluster. There is no bulb to buy. A dimmable 0-10V or TRIAC driver can be fitted at the factory on request — tell us at order time.
Q4: Does the whole ring light up?
A4: Yes. The LED runs inside the full circumference and the alabaster is worked to an even wall thickness, so the glow is continuous top, bottom, inside and out with no dark segment at the cable points. Because the material scatters light rather than transmitting it directly, you get an even wash with no visible diodes.
Q5: Which diameter should I choose?
A5: Dia 60cm over a round table of 100-120cm or as a bedroom centrepiece. Dia 80cm for a 130-150cm table or a lounge seating group. Dia 100cm for open-plan rooms above 30 square metres. Choose the cluster only where you have at least 3.5m of ceiling and want the fixture to be the focal point of the room.
Q6: How is it installed?
A6: Hardwired to a ceiling junction box. The brass canopy carries steel suspension cables that adjust up to 150cm on site without rewiring, so the drop is set after the fixture is up. Each ring ships assembled in its own moulded foam bed; the cluster arrives as three rings plus one multi-outlet canopy, hung and levelled in sequence.
