Q1: What does this chandelier look like?

A1: A slim gold brass band runs around the centre and round alabaster discs are pinned to it in overlapping rows above and below, each held by a single brass rivet at its centre. The discs vary in diameter and sit at slightly different angles, so the ring reads like overlapping scales or a scattering of moons rather than a regular pattern.

 

Q2: What sizes are available?

A2: Four round variants: Dia 58cm, 80cm, 100cm and 120cm, all H 20cm, in White+Gold with warm light. The Dia 58cm suits a round table of 100-110cm, Dia 80cm for 130-150cm, Dia 100cm for large round or square tables, and Dia 120cm for hotel lobbies, double-height living rooms and villa entrances.

 

Q3: What is the light source?

A3: An integrated warm-white LED at 3000K with CRI above 80, rated 50,000 hours, mounted inside the brass band and firing outward through the discs. Output runs from 36W on the Dia 58cm to 90W on the Dia 120cm. There are no bulbs to buy; a dimmable driver can be fitted at the factory on request.

 

Q4: Do the discs all look the same?

A4: No. Each disc is finished individually, so the faint veining and cloudy shading differ from one to the next — some are almost plain ivory, others carry a soft amber vein. Lit, the variation is what makes the ring look hand-made; a set of identical discs would read as a printed panel.

 

Q5: Is the light directed downward?

A5: Partly. The LED sits in the band and pushes light out sideways through the discs, so most of what you see is the discs themselves glowing rather than a beam on the table. It gives a warm, low-glare ambient wash. Over a dining table it works well; over a work surface, pair it with recessed downlights.

 

Q6: How is it installed and packed?

A6: Hardwired to a ceiling junction box, hung on fine steel cables from a brass canopy and adjustable up to 150cm of drop without rewiring. It ships knocked down — the brass ring in a moulded foam bed and the alabaster discs individually wrapped in a separate tray. Discs are riveted onto the band after the ring is hung and levelled.
