Q1: How is this chandelier put together?
A1: A central squared brass column carries six flat arms that fan out around it at six different heights, so the arms never sit in one plane. Each arm ends in a smooth oval alabaster plate laid flat, with the LED module hidden underneath it. Seen from below it reads as six glowing ovals orbiting a brass spine; seen from the side it is a stepped, sculptural spiral.
Q2: What size is it?
A2: One size: Dia 82cm across the arm span × H 42cm for the body, with each oval plate measuring roughly L 22cm × W 14cm. The single brass rod above it is adjustable on site up to about 100cm. The 82cm span suits a dining table of 140-200cm, a lounge seating group, or a manager's office.
Q3: Do I need to buy bulbs?
A3: No. Each plate has its own integrated LED module built in — 6W per plate, 36W in total, fixed at 3000K warm white with CRI above 80. There is nothing to replace during normal life and no socket to source. Rated life is 50,000 hours, which is roughly 15 years at three hours a day.
Q4: Can it be dimmed?
A4: Not as standard — it ships with a non-dimming driver so it can be wired straight to an ordinary wall switch. If you need dimming, tell us before production and we will fit a 0-10V or TRIAC dimmable driver instead. Retro-fitting a dimmable driver afterwards means opening the canopy, so it is much easier to specify it up front.
Q5: Why are the plates oval instead of round?
A5: The oval shape lets the six plates overlap visually as they rotate around the column without ever touching, which keeps the fixture light and open at an 82cm span. It also gives a longer pool of light along the table axis than a circular disc of the same area, which is why it works well over a rectangular dining table.
Q6: How is it installed and packed?
A6: Hardwired to a ceiling junction box through the round brass canopy. The central column and rod ship assembled; the six arms screw into the column on site and the alabaster plates are wrapped separately in a second foam layer so the polished faces cannot rub against the brass in transit. Allow about 45 minutes for a single electrician.
