Q1: Why is it called a crown chandelier?
A1: Flat blades stand vertically around a gold band and alternate material as they go round — one alabaster blade, one polished mirror-gold blade, repeating — so the ring reads as a crown of upright points rather than a drum. The gold blades mirror the lit alabaster beside them, which doubles the apparent number of glowing panels.
Q2: What sizes are available?
A2: Four single-tier rings at Dia 50cm, 60cm, 70cm and 100cm, all H 28cm, plus a two-tier version at Dia 100cm × H 60cm where a smaller ring sits below the main one. Choose 50 or 60cm for a bedroom or a small round table, 70cm for a six-seat dining table, and the 100cm versions for a lobby or a double-height space.
Q3: What bulbs does it take?
A3: E14 candle sockets set inside the ring, bulbs not included, rated Max 15W per head. We recommend 3-5W E14 LED candles at 2700-3000K. The sockets face inward and are screened by the blades, so from normal standing height you see the glowing alabaster and the gold reflections rather than the bulbs themselves.
Q4: How does the two-tier version differ?
A4: It uses the same Dia 100cm main ring but adds a second, smaller blade ring suspended below it, taking the total height to 60cm. That extra tier fills the vertical space in a stairwell, a double-height lounge or a large entrance hall, where a single flat ring would look thin from a distance.
Q5: Does the light spill upward as well as down?
A5: Yes. Because the blades stand upright and are open at top and bottom, the ring throws light both onto the ceiling and down onto the table, and the gold blades bounce a warm reflected wash sideways onto the surrounding walls. It gives an ambient, candle-like effect rather than a directional beam.
Q6: How is it installed and shipped?
A6: Hardwired to a ceiling junction box through the round canopy and hung on cables that can be shortened to about 100cm or less. The gold band and sockets ship assembled; the alabaster blades are wrapped individually and slot into the band on site, so the heavy part of the fixture can be hung before the blades are added.
