Q1: What is the shape of this pendant?
A1: A long alabaster block with its lower edges chamfered off and both ends mitred back to a shallow point, so the bar looks sharpened rather than simply cut square. A slim metal spine runs along the top edge and carries the block; from below you see only the lit stone, from the side you see a thin bright line of metal above it.
Q2: Which lengths and finishes are available?
A2: Two lengths, L 100cm and L 120cm, each in Gold+White or Black+White, giving four variants. The finish covers the top spine, the end pieces and the ceiling box. Gold suits a warm scheme with brass hardware; matt black is the choice where the ceiling is dark or the joinery is already black-framed.
Q3: How much light does it give?
A3: It is rated Max 60W with the LED running the full length of the block, which makes it bright enough to work as the main light over a dining table or a meeting table rather than as an accent. The alabaster softens the output, so the bar is comfortable to sit under without a separate diffuser.
Q4: Is it dimmable?
A4: Not as standard — it is supplied for a plain wall switch. A 0-10V or TRIAC dimmable driver can be fitted at the factory instead; tell us at order stage which dimming protocol your control system uses and we will build the fitting to match rather than leaving it to be sorted on site.
Q5: How high above the table should it hang?
A5: About 75-85cm from the underside of the bar to the tabletop. The two cables adjust independently at the ceiling up to roughly 150cm, so the drop can be set to suit the room and the bar trimmed level. Aim to leave 15-20cm of table showing past each end of the fitting.
Q6: Will every unit look the same?
A6: The form and the finish will, the figuring will not. Each block is cut from a different part of the batch, so the grey and amber shading shifts from one bar to the next. The photographs show a representative piece — expect the same palette and translucency, and treat the exact pattern as unique to your unit.
