Q1: What does this chandelier look like?
A1: Two slim brass rings are stacked one inside the other and carry twenty short cylindrical alabaster shades. The shades alternate — some sit above the ring pointing up, some hang below pointing down — so light washes both the ceiling and the table at once. The centre stem is brushed brass with a hand-textured rope-twist section just under the canopy, which is the detail that lifts it out of the plain-ring category.
Q2: What size is it and how many are available?
A2: One size: Dia 60cm × H 16cm in the White finish. Each alabaster cylinder measures roughly Dia 7cm × H 11cm. The 60cm diameter suits a round dining table of 100-140cm, a lounge seating group, or a hotel reception counter. Drop length is adjustable on site up to about 100cm by trimming the stem.
Q3: What bulbs does it take?
A3: Twenty G9 sockets, one inside each alabaster cylinder. Bulbs are not included. We recommend G9 LED at 3-5W and 2700-3000K warm white; total load is capped at Max 100W. Because each bulb sits inside a solid alabaster tube, you never see a filament — only the shade glowing from within.
Q4: Is the alabaster the same on every piece?
A4: No, and that is intentional. Each cylinder is finished individually, so the cloudy shading and faint veining differ slightly from shade to shade. Lit, the twenty tubes read as a ring of warm ivory lanterns with subtle variation rather than twenty identical printed shades.
Q5: Which rooms does it suit?
A5: Dining rooms, open-plan lounges, hotel receptions, private club rooms and executive meeting rooms. The up-and-down shade arrangement gives usable downlight over a table plus a soft ceiling wash, so it can often be the only fixture in a room of 20-30 square metres.
Q6: How is it installed and shipped?
A6: Hardwired to a ceiling junction box via the round brass canopy — an electrician job, about 30-45 minutes. It ships as a knocked-down kit: ring frame in one moulded foam bed, the twenty alabaster cylinders individually wrapped in a second layer, stem and canopy boxed separately. Shades screw on after the frame is hung.
